Chris Panagiotopoulos
CEO and Founder

Chris is the CEO and Founder of Marathon Staffing, which was organized in 1987 to provide a full range of staffing services and workforce solutions. He has been instrumental in 1990 in the development of the early On-Site/On Premise Staffing solutions by utilizing technology to automate staffing processes.

He is the driving force behind Marathon's over 20% yearly growth for the past decade.  Despite market fluctuations our business grew to $60 million dollars annually, 100% self-financed and never experienced a layoff. As the President of three highly successful technology companies, he brings over thirty-five years of management, sales, marketing and product development experience. His leadership, passion and teamwork are the cornerstone of Marathon and have inspired the company culture.

Tina Panagiotakos
Vice President of Operations

Tina joined Marathon in 1995, and oversees all of Marathon’s financial and operational functions, including finance and accounting, financial planning and risk management.  During her tenure, she oversees the company's largest client with over 10,000 employees annually.    Prior to joining Marathon, Tina worked for Wang Laboratories and New England Medical Center.

Her project management experience and staff development have contributed immensely and have been instrumental in the growth of Marathon.

Kendra Strickland
Vice President of Strategic Planning

Kendra has worked in the staffing industry for over 17 years. Kendra has held positions of increased responsibility in recruiting, branch management, and contract management.  She has an outstanding ability in supervising, directing, and guiding individuals and groups in the completion of tasks and fulfillment of goals. She spends a considerable amount of time doing team building, mentoring and team planning

In 2007 Kendra successfully led a team in launching onsite staffing operations at Ingram Micro’s Scottsdale Arizona facility. In 2008, Kendra became involved in bidding for a series of government contracts. Her efforts resulted in Marathon being awarded contracts with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Birmingham Jefferson County, State of South Carolina, the City of Boston, the City of New Orleans, and the State of Nevada. Kendra has been instrumental in setting up new processes and operations that these contracts have required. She ensures that all contract requirements are consistently met in a timely fashion.

Christopher Panagiotopoulos
Business Consultant

Christopher is the company’s consultant in mergers and acquisitions, technology solutions, communications, and mission-critical business projects. Christopher has extensive knowledge of the Staffing Industry and previous working experience with NASA.

Colleen Foye
Human Resource Manager

Colleen jointed Marathon in 2011 and manages the Human Resource activities for the Marathon Staffing. During this period, she has been involved in improving recruiting, safety, OSHA compliance, staff training, community outreach and setting up of new staffing operations.

Her human resource experience, training and staff development have help in operating with the same standards across all of our Marathon Staffing Offices.

Laurence Szetela
CPA and Company Tax Compliance

Laurence provides Reviewed Financial Statements and WOTC Tax Compliance guidance for Marathon Staffing and their clients. With over 35 years’ experience as a Certified Public Accountant he directs the efforts of Tax Compliance, tax audits and filings.

He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maine and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.

He is a CPA in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and services local, regional, national and international clients.

Ann Marie Borges
Accounting and Tax Compliance Supervisor

Ann brings extensive financial management experience for various technology and fast growing emerging companies that spans over twenty years. She brings exceptional organization and compliance skills to the firm. She served as a Senior Accountant for Mack Technologies, where she oversaw payroll, accounts payable and receivable processing. Prior to that she was a Senior Accountant for Integral Access, an innovative network communications company, Corning Lasertron, and BTU Engineering. She has experience in the optics, electronics, manufacturing and staffing industries.

Undergraduate Studies in Mathematics from Salem State College.

Suzanne Deshler
Accounting and Tax Compliance Manager

As Accounting and Tax Compliance Manager, she brings over 25 years of experience in all aspects of accounting with a specialty in payroll tax compliance, accounts receivable, cash reconciliations, quarterly and year-end tax reporting.

Her accounting and tax compliance experience have been applied in the areas of manufacturing, import/export, home improvement and long term care companies.

She is dedicated to helping the firm as well as our clients achieve business success by helping to establish practical and sound tax and financial processes and compliance through the ever changing maze of regulations and technologies.
