Chris founded Marathon in 1987 to help people achieve.  For over 30 years, Chris has passionately worked with our team members to live better lives.  He believes in a painless job search that is fast and transparent.  He is a community leader, team member advocate and avid Patriots fan.

Kendra Strickland

Chief Operating Officer

Kendra believes in Marathon’s mission of community achievement and works closely with our field leaders to make this mission a reality.  Active within her community and church family, Kendra believes in the power of people who share a common mission to serve others and in developing deep community relationships.  She started her career as a frontline recruiter for an international staffing firm before moving to Marathon and has never looked back.

Tina Panagiotakos

Vice President of Operations

Tina joined Marathon in 1995 compelled to make a difference in the communities we serve.  In her role as VP of operations, she oversees all payroll, administrative and HR related functions for Marathon as well as manages large national employer relationships.  Tina is an administrative guru who is obsessively passionate about making our team members feel great at every interaction.

Team Member Innovation

Christopher leads our innovation and community outreach team that follows user centered design principles to enhance our team member’s experience.  Constantly questioning industry norms and perpetuality challenging the place of a staffing firm in the value chain, Chris believes that staffing firms should offer more opportunity than just job.

Colleen Foye

Human Resource Manager

Colleen is the chief administrative advocate for our team members.  Since 2011, she has been involved in enhancing our recruiting experience, workplace safety, OSHA compliance, training and educational offerings.  Colleen works closely with our operations team to ensure our how we operate reflects our Marathon’s mission.

Suzanne Deshler

Accounting and Tax Compliance Manager

As Accounting and Tax Compliance Manager, she brings over 25 years of experience in all aspects of accounting with a specialty in payroll tax compliance, accounts receivable, cash reconciliations, quarterly and year-end tax reporting.

She is dedicated to helping our team members achieve by helping ensuring Marathon is compliant with the ever changing maze of regulations and technologies.

Laurence Szetela

Advisor, Tax and Compliance

Laurence provides Reviewed Financial Statements and WOTC Tax Compliance guidance for Marathon Staffing and their clients. With over 35 years’ experience as a Certified Public Accountant he directs the efforts of Tax Compliance, tax audits and filings.

He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maine and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.

He is a CPA in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and services local, regional, national and international clients.
